A heavily peated Islay single malt distilled in 2010 and matured in a combination of bourbon casks before being finished in oak casks sourced from the Pauillac wine region of Bordeaux. Rich, smoky and complex, this limited release showcases Port Charlotte's signature balance of peat and elegance.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Barbecue smoke, dark berries, vanilla, oak and sea salt.
Palate: Rich peat smoke, blackcurrants, dark chocolate, toasted oak and spice.
Finish: Long, smoky and warming with lingering fruit, oak and maritime notes.
