1x30ml dram from the original bottling of Lindores Abbey Aqua Vitae
Not quite a whisky and not quite a gin, more a distilled spirit much like the original monks would have produced before barrel aging was discovered. Lindores Abbey's Aqua Vitae is distilled in pot stills and then infused with a blend of spices and herbs, including cleavers, lemon verbena, Douglas fir and sweet cicely, all of which are foraged from the grounds of the ancient Abbey. Good enough to enjoy simply over ice with a twist of orange.
