1x30ml dram from the original bottling of Glenallachie Spirit of Speyside 2021
Exclusively bottled for The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2021, this 15-year-old single cask expression presents an intriguing twist on the classic Glenallachie style.
Hand-selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker, this gloriously rich malt was initially aged in a fresh ex-Bourbon cask before being re-racked into a first-fill sherry hogshead for secondary maturation. Continuously monitored and evaluated, the spirit was then transferred into an American oak cask which had previously held a heavily peated whisky distilled at Glenallachie, a first in the distillery’s history.
